In 2017, the Kaiser Family Foundation conducted a poll concerning end-of-life preparedness and preparation. They asked over 4,000 people spanning 4 countries more than 50 questions pertaining to the topic of death and end-of-life. One shocking statistic to come from this was that just over 70% of US participants stated they would prefer to die at home, however the actual amount of people who died at home was only about 30%.
